What we do
Most window screens are sold for a window that does not exist. They come in a box at a standard size, and then you get them home and discover the opening is 4 cm narrower on one side than the other, because nothing in an older house is square.
That is the problem we build around. Every screen we sell is cut to the window in front of you. You order the size above your opening and trim the frame down with a blade or a strong pair of scissors. No mitre saw, no tradesman, no waiting in for someone.
Nothing gets drilled either. A magnetic screen holds on a self-adhesive magnetic strip, a velcro screen on hook-and-loop tape. Both grip for years and both lift away without pulling the finish off the frame. For a rented flat, that is the difference between having screens and not having them.

We are an online shop. There is no showroom: keeping everything online is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card or PayPal at a secure checkout, and we deliver to your door anywhere in Europe.

Will a screen stop my cat pushing through?
That's what the pet mesh is for. Standard fibreglass won't survive a determined cat, so don't try to save money there if you have one.
Do screens block the light?
Barely. You lose a little brightness and the view stays clear from inside.
Can I buy just the mesh?
Yes. Mesh, magnetic strip, PVC frame and corner sets are all sold separately, so a repair doesn't mean buying a whole new screen.
Is it cheaper to do several windows?
Usually. Because the parts are sold separately, four odd windows work out less than four complete kits.
How long do they last?
Years, with normal use. Clean them now and then, keep them out of standing water, and that's about all the maintenance there is.
How do I clean a screen?
Lift it off, wash it with mild soap and water, let it dry, put it back. That's the whole job.
What if I measure wrong?
Order the next size up and trim it down. A screen can be cut smaller but never larger. So when you're between sizes, go bigger.

They work differently. A screen is a physical barrier that keeps doing its job with the window wide open, and it doesn't put anything into the air you're breathing.
