Shipping & returns

Delivery across Europe within 7 working days of dispatch. It is free on orders of €60 or more, and a flat €22 below that.

You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason, under regulation 20 of S.I. No. 484 of 2013, which implements the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back, and you pay the cost of returning them.

A screen cut to your own measurements is made to your specification, so regulation 13(1)(c) removes the cancellation right once we have started making it. A standard size you cut down yourself at home keeps the full right until you cut it.

If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described we put it right at no cost to you, return postage included, under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

Chain Screen Door Does Not Work

I purchased the chain screen door to keep bugs out. First, I don't think it keeps the mosquitoes out of the house. Second, it is very easily damaged as people pass through it -- the chains catch on clothes or things that people are carrying. Third, my dog has been able to pull it down multiple times. Fourth, the hangers are very wobbly and it sometimes falls down with just the slightest tug. Customers are not able to post reviews of products on the website, so buyer beware. I asked the company for a refund/credit, and they refused saying it had been too long since purchase (6 months) and that no one else has complained so it must be my fault. Of course, they don't allow reviews so there is no way to know. Regardless, very unhappy with product and service.

A great solution to my flyscreen problem

I ordered 3 screen kits & they arrived promptly. Easy to install, and I had left over material I was easily able to adapt to 3 other smaller windows. I recommend buying some extra corner clips if you intend to use the extra materials. The screens look good - a great option for casement windows needing customized screens. Note - for shipping to the Netherlands I had to pay tax on top of the purchase price.

Do not rely on this insect screen to contain an animal. Mesh and self-adhesive edging are not an animal restraint. Use an independently secured window guard or restraint designed for that purpose.

Can this screen prevent a fall?

Choose mesh for insect screening

This kit is an insect screen for a window in a home with pets. Review the available product options and choose a kit that covers your fitting area before ordering.

Important: insect mesh and its self-adhesive fitting are not animal restraint, a security barrier or fall protection. Do not rely on this screen to stop a cat or child leaving an open window. Use a suitable, independently secured window restraint or guard where containment is needed.

Measure the fitting surface

Identify the flat surface where the screen edging will attach.
Measure the full width and height of that fitting area, with the units clearly marked.
Check clearance around handles, hinges and the opening window.
Select a kit that covers the required area. Ask our team if the frame or fitting position is uncertain.

Check the frame and fixing

The kit uses self-adhesive edging. Check that the surface and available fitting space are suitable before ordering, and follow the supplied fitting instructions. Adhesive performance depends on the surface, preparation and conditions; do not assume mesh strength makes the fixing secure against a pet pushing or climbing.

Use and inspect the screen

Check the mesh, edging and attachment regularly for damage or loose areas. Keep pets away from an unsecured window opening during fitting, cleaning and removal. Replace damaged components before using the screen for insect screening.
